This sunflower was part of a ‘maze’ on a farm I sometimes visit with my kids in Southern England, near London. In the summer months, it would have been very tall and the head packed full of seeds. This one, however, had been stripped of all the seeds and I think this was done - bizarrely - by parakeets. I had visited the same site a few days previously and it was full of bright green birds eating as many of the seeds as they could find. I converted the image to black and white and I think it is captivating. I hope you like it.
