Hiking around Snowbird mountain Resort in mid summer offers a whole new experience than during the winter (honestly I prefer to be up here with my skis, but hiking up there is a strong number 2). The amazing banding of the mountains is far more impressive during the summer and provides a picturesque glimpse into the geologic wonder of Little Cottonwood Canyon.
