Stepping back

Last night I pulled an all-nighter to take photos like this one. I was taking photos for about 7 hours non-stop. I got so carried away I didn’t realize I stayed up the entire night until the sun started to rise on the other side of the house. Of course, I got the camera back out to shoot that as well. As it got dark tonight I was ready for more. Then my mom said “you know you don’t have to do that right?” Last year I missed a chance to photograph the stars and I missed it. I slept instead. Since that I take every chance I get, except tonight. Sometimes it pays more to step back.
