I recently traveled to Washington, DC to visit with some family. I took one day to hit the mall and see some of America’s most prized monuments. The Lincoln Memorial has always been one of my favorites, and watching the sun set from the rear of the monument was spectacular. The golden light flooded the back of the memorial and I was elated to have been in this very spot at the right moment. I love how the man at the bottom of the frame gives some scale to the photo.
