My friend and I woke up and drove to Te Puru Park, Beachlands, New Zealand at 5:00am to capture the annual Eta Aquarid annual meteor shower. We stayed long enough to shoot sunrise photos too and stumbled across a small shore hidden around the bend. A quiet, reserved slice of nature in a peaceful morning with the warmth of the sunrise against my back.
