This was my second trip camping out in the desert with friends. A group of my co-workers grew up dispersed camping out in the desert and I’m incredibly grateful to them for introducing me to these beautiful landscapes. During this trip, one of my co-workers asked me what I thought about the desert landscape as we watched a sunset and I jokingly responded that I thought it was a wasteland. In reality, a wasteland couldn’t be further from the truth. Desert landscapes are incredibly beautiful and in a short amount of time I’ve come to adore them.
