I was in Thailand in the wake of the King’s death and visiting temples. In the far back of Wat Pa Dara Pirom was this figure tucked far back in an alcove. It was a tough picture to capture in the recess and made a bit more difficult that the alcove was very dark inside of a whitewashed masonry column and about 7 feet above the ground level. The contrast, difficult lighting, and tippy toe balancing act to get in close with a fill flash made the final results very rewarding.
