I love flower stands in the city. They are such a bright beacon in what can be a gray, bleak landscape. The tulips are especially cheerful as a classic spring flower. A veritable rainbow of colors to choose from, a mixed bouquet or bright red? Calming white or happy yellow? Color and emotion are intertwined and I love that there are tiny sprinkles of magic waiting on corners here and there, just waiting to pull you out of a winter daze - if only for a moment.
