This picture is a part of my photography class project. So much fresh food we buy in food stores comes in plastic packaging, and it seems that there has to be a better way. It just feels like such a wrong combination - freshness wrapped in plastic. For the project, I wanted to document such examples and present them in the context of the global crisis of mounting plastic waste. Despite the seriousness of the subject, I loved how this picture turned out. Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.
