The trail ended in front of a huge, locked gate in the middle of the woods with ‘no-trespassing’ signs all over the place. We ended up walking along the fence to make it back on the trail somewhere, but we eventually didn’t. The locked area had a shady and stranger-thingsy atmosphere which is exactly what the path ending in front of the gate was for me.
