While on my way to photograph the L.A. Art and Music Festival, I got off the train a few stops early and decided to walk the rest of the way. Shot a lot of downtown scenes, which I already have a ton of, when for no particular reason, I decided to look up and captured this photo. We tend to focus only on what’s right in front of us. We forget that there is an entire world around us, just beyond of our field of vision, that is waiting to be discovered. That same concept can be applied to our lives. There is beauty and opportunity all around us. Don’t forget to take the time to look around.
