I moved to Berlin when I was 15, from New Zealand. After graduating highschool I was able to travel back home for a holiday. I long for ocean and summer days and nights. I was excited to see more of my country. Me and my friend were staying at mount maunganui and riding our bikes back from the beach, when the sun started setting and it was beautiful. I forgot my camera. So I took off on my bike, to grab it. I missed the sunset but got the beautiful pink sky & lonely surfer. I love this pic, because it makes me feel peaceful, even though the moment was hectic.
