For this photo, I simply walked around my garden with my new EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM lens. I photographed the old door of my shed because I love wood textures. This material is fascinating and breathes life, strength and respect. To get the quintessence of this exceptional lens, I went through Lightroom and Photoshop to improve the overall rendering of this texture. By using a powerful and intelligent algorithm, I managed to extract the smallest detail from these wood planks. To be convinced, you just have to zoom in 100%.
