I was getting some staging ready to take some newborn photos of my niece. This chair belonged to some of our ancestors. And it just looked so empty waiting there to be filled with the next generation. She is carrying on the name of two great-grandmothers just as we carry on using the chairs they used. The autumn season is just beginning, and those leaves tell a story of passing time, a change in a story.
