Iceland's famous Black Sand Beach with a starfish resting on the sand before the water swept it away. I shot this photo basically lying on the ground because I wanted to capture the details of the rocks that sit higher up on the beaches, before becoming sand down by the water. The beautiful color of the starfish naturally contrasts with the black sand.
