Rekoa palegon (Cramer, 1780) is a species of hairstreak in the gossamer-winged butterflies family (Lycaenidae). It is commonly known as the gold-bordered hairstreak, and it is present from Mexico to the north of Argentina. Most species are usually solitary seen, and also they like the nectar of flowers such as Senecio, Eupatorium, Lantana, and others.
