We covered the scene over the weekend as fishermen fishing for Japanese local trout "Ayu" in a nearby river tried their hand at making grilled dried fish that could be used for soup or flavor for "Sake." Ayu are grilled with local wood and charcoal, and then dried in the clean winter air.
