Arriving shortly before sunset I reached this spot at the perfect time. This part of northern Arizona is made up of flat plains as far as the eye can see. Out of nowhere, if you go far enough, a dirt road will take you to the edge of this canyon where the little colorado river pours down several huge cascades.
