The very photogenic Bob Marley being greeted on arrival at his Hotel, The White Heron Lodge in Parnell, Auckland New Zealand during his 1979, Babylon by Bus Tour. I got to snap some pretty unique shots this day as there was only one other photographer using a 35mm camera besides the N.Z. Broadcasting’s film crew. I also managed to travel with him on their bus to the Western Springs Stadium, where they performed a 20 minute sound check to a nearly empty stadium as part of a sound check for actual the actual concert.
