blue water on brown rock

Water collected in he hexagonal rocks formed by an ancient volcanic fissure at the Giant's Causeway on the North coast in County Antrim (Sep., 2021). Interestingly, when the magma cools in fissures of this type, the layers of the rock are convex on top, and concave on the bottom allowing these volcanic rocks to form in stacks.
