This is a late-season hydrangea bloom, small but bravely surviving the cold nights. But then there was a hard frost and I was out on an early and cold morning trying to capture the frost crystals before they melted away. That frost took down the bloom and all the remaining leaves on the hydrangea, so this would be the only chance I had.
