My wife is originally from Surabaya City in East Java Indonesia. Surabaya is the second largest city in Indonesia. In the last few years, an explosion of single-origin coffee places has happened. This place near my wife’s childhood neighborhood is particularly well designed and offers the best tasting coffee in the area IMHO. This photo was made during my last visit to Surabaya. Just the way my laptop looked “plugged in” against the manicured interior design of the cafe caught my eye. This image is also a testament to how we (me included) are constantly plugged in.
