This photo was taken on the top of a building in a favella called Rocinha, which is the largest of its kind in Brazil. In this picture alone, there live more people than in my hometown, which is the second largest city of Denmark. This is one the most dense populated places in the world. The day before we were suppose to visit Rocinha, a new gang-war broke out, but our guide ensured us that it was safe. We experienced nothing but kindness. However, one day later, a spanish tourist got murdered.
