Sailors Beach in the village of Hyams Beach is often (incorrectly) identified as having the whitest sand in the world (that’s actually Lucky Bay in WA, Australia). It’s a lovely beach, though often a bit too busy for my tastes but if you visit at sunrise you can often get the place to yourself.
