Towards the end of the day the clouds began to break up and there were spots of sun here and there. When things lined up just right this adult Bald Eagle circled around a few times and finally banked to dive for a fish. This image was taken just before the dive when it was caught in a spot of sun when the background was still in shade from the clouds. It created a rather dramatic lighting setup that I think works for the more distant bird.
