Against the Current

The day I took this picture began really nice. Beautiful sunrise, a warm summer day and many people on the road. But on my way to the Grossglockner High Alpine Road a thunder storm came up and suddenly no one was out there. Even no queue at the entry. I didn’t expect to take any good shot up there but nevertheless I wanted to try it. And well… it was one of the best choices I’ve ever made. Only a few minutes later the most amazing view I’ve ever had came up. No one far and wide I took a handful of shots, including this one, and then I just stood there and watched…
