This is a real ‘right time, right place’ shot as there are only a few times each year when the tide is at the right stage to hit the sea wall and create these stunning vertical wave splashes whilst the sun is rising directly behind. I did eventually get soaked when a ‘freak’ wave dumped on top of me!
