Alone but not lonely

If I had my life to live again, I’d find you sooner. This is what I think about Iceland. For 21 years of my 31 on this planet I lived just a short hop from Iceland. The UK is just a 3 hour flight across the north Atlantic, but it was only after I moved to the west coast of Canada that I visited Iceland for the first time. Now a 7 hour flight away I feel closer to this country than I ever have. Even in places of solitude I never once felt alone. That is what lead me to take this photo to remind me how I felt in the moment. A feeling of completeness and contentment when absolutely alone.
