My friends and I spent the hot summer day walking around the Art District of Los Angeles, California while I was on vacation in early June. One apartment building with an attached parking garage caught my eye as the sun shined down and burned my shoulders. The angle of the light from the sun helped me capture the blue shadow on the beige concrete of the garage.
