I was going for subtle yet obvious curves, colors and depth--I think I nailed it. Those vines and the red volcanic soil looked amazing as the sun was setting. I've been playing around with straight down bird's-eye photos like this one and using the natural shadows and lines to bring out the depth and terrain. I took this with my drone over a vineyard on the side of a large hill in Marion County, Oregon. I don't care what anyone says--I love this photo!
