This was a cloudy day in the summer of 2016. Not only the weather contributed to the mood of this shot, but also flying ashes from the burning right behind the mountain forest. Rangers didn’t allow people to step on the scenic trail because of a potential danger to be trapped between water and fire. I took this picture from the road.
