It is unbelievably refreshing to get “out” of the city and above the smog. The hiking paths around the Griffith Observatory and Hollywood sign are a true sanctuary for those who need to remind themselves about what this is all for. Taking to time to pause and watch the sunset gives me the ability to reflect and appreciate the millions of people flying through life below me, allowing me to temporarily remove myself from the routines that I so easily fall into.
