This is part of a collection of photos I took while strolling around James’s Gate, Dublin’s old brewing quarter. The door is an old raised entrance into ‘Vathouse No 7’ belonging to the Guinness Brewery. To the left of our door the building is inscribed with the words by Lawrence Weiner (circa 1968) “Stone upon stone upon fallen stone” an Irish (Gaelic) translation is also featured “Cloch ós cionn cloiche ós cionn cloiche leatha”.
