The Brion Tomb, also known as the Brion Shrine and Brion-Vega Tomb, in San Vito d'Altivole near Treviso, Italy, is the burial place of the Brion family. It was designed by Venetian architect Carlo Scarpa between 1968 and 1978 as a 2,000 m2 L-shaped extension of the adjacent municipal cemetery. It is considered a masterpiece of post-modernist architecture and a powerful memorial. Scarpa believed that "the place for the dead is a garden," and he himself is buried next to the Brion shrine.
