The Uinta National Forest is where I did my first ever backpacking. This was the view about 1000 ft into our ascent on the mountain. I mostly think about how cold and windy it was overnight while camping on top of the mountain, but I will never forget how amazing it was to stargaze for just a few seconds before you turned into a human popsicle.
