The Pavilion at the Riverfront contrasted against an early December sky. The USA Pavilion was the largest structure created for Expo '74 in Spokane, Washington, the smallest city to ever host a world's fair. Originally covered with vinyl, the tent like structure hosted the environmentally themed “Man and Nature: One and Indivisible” exhibition. After the fair, the vinyl was removed and the structure hosted an ice rink for many years before being renovated in 2019. Today it features a multipurpose events space and LED light blades that continue to make it the focal point of Riverfront Park.
