Hong Kong Museum of Medical Sciences in Caine Lane showcases the history of Hong Kong's medical development during early colonial period in 1880s to early 1990s. This Edwardian architecture was originally the Bacteriological institute opened in 1906 during the British colonial era. It was renamed Pathological Institute after World War 2. It was restored and converted into the Hong Kong Museum of Medical Sciences in 1996. It's a Declared Monument in Hong Kong.
