The monument to the heroes of the front and rear was erected in Perm on the city esplanade in the Leninsky district of the city. The monument was opened on May 9, 1985 in honor of the 40th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The authors of the monument were the sculptor, laureate of the State Prize of the USSR V. M. Klykov, Honored Architect of the RSFSR R. I. Serdzhiev, architect V. I. Snegirev, and designer B. S. Gurvich.
