Built in 1914, this western architectural style mansion, Kom Tong Hall, was originally the mansion of a prestigious and wealthy tycoon in Hong Kong, Ho Kom Tong. It has been bought by the government, restored as a Declared Monument, and used as the Dr. Sun Yat-sen Museum of H.K. in 2006. Dr. Sun Yat-sen wad named the Father of the Nation among Chinese people such as in People's Republic of China, Taiwan, HK.and Macau. He founded the Republic of China in 1911 after a successful revolution. The statue of Dr Sun Yat-sen has been erected in the garden. He studied medicine in H.K.
