I will always remember the day my husband and I visited the lovely Louvre Museum in my favorite city of beautiful Paris, France. There are so many things to see there, from its exquisite architecture on a scale I did not expect to see, to its priceless works of art housed within its walls, to walking through the beautiful Jardin des Tuileries (the Tuileries Gardens), taking in all of its beauty. The Louvre is a must see! This photo is of the ancient Greek sculpture "Venus de Milo," also called "Aphrodite of Melos" that was created during the Hellenistic period.
