El Monumento a la Paz; a statue that depicts the Porfiriato's idea of peace. The statue depicts a woman holding laurel leaves on top of a marble sphere surrounded by two small children. Behind them stands the Basílica Colegiata de Nuestra Señora de Guanajuato.
