An oil painting. Depicting an exhausted lioness with her captured deer which might yet find its second wind and escape. Although, it could be symbolic of strength and protection. It has been known for lioness to adopt a young animal not of its own kind. That relationship never ends well sadly. This was a happy accident which occasionally shows up with oil painting. The lioness and deer were meant to be two green bushes, but the bushes took the shape of these animals without my deliberately thinking about the subject. I just accepted their presence and brought them out of the shadows.
