Joshua Tree National Park - 0079 Joshua Tree National Park is located in Southern California east of Palm Springs. It resides in both the Mojave and Colorado Deserts and is named for the region's spiky and twisted Joshua trees. This park also contains rugged rock formations, boulders and the Cholla Cactus Garden.
