They ask themselves, “Is it finished or not?” For a long moment we wonder, “Can I do more?” Then, still feeling as if we could have chosen a better angle. We decide, “OK, if I do anymore I’ll spoil the feeling.” Or, “When it drys, pick out highlights. Right, thats it, let it dry and bring yet more brightness.” Always room for sunlight, for spirit and warmth. This painting fills with colour, inspiring life and joy and the heady freedom of hope.
