They are colorful, brave, and very good parents. How something so small can survive the winter always amazes me. The power of mother nature is the will to overcome sometimes devastating odds. These birds benefit from living close to us humans. But they always keep a respectful distance, they maintain their wildness in our gardens and managed parks. The natural world is where they belong.
