An oil painting, Located within a deep green forest. I love trees. Trees give us the very oxygen we breathe. They are home for thousands of different insects, mosses, lichens and fungi. Trees even clean the air for us through the night whilst we sleep because they breathe in what we breathe out. They feed us with their fruits and sap and even give us shade. Trees trap dangerous carbons in their trunks. Did you know, trees communicate with each other. Through their intertwining roots using chemicals and a symbiotic fungus. Trees know when they’ve been hurt or healed. Trees are truly friends.
