An original Oil painting of beautiful Bamburgh Castle and sands. I often holidayed here in 1960s-1990s. It holds so many happy memories of family. The last walk was the day of the two towers attack in the USA. We’ll never forget it. Two British jets passed us closely following the coastline. On my last long walk between Bamburgh and Seahouses. Little did we know so many people had lost their lives that very day. In horrific circumstances. The news back at the caravan was too shocking to believe. But then I gazed at the peaceful sea and realised such trauma is created by man, not God.
