This is an original painting. A4 Acrylic and Oils. Using Acrylic as the backing paint means you can layer your scene much more quickly and because Acrylics dry about two shades darker, using oils to highlight the brighter areas I’m finding makes a painting with more depth. This scene is part memory and part from a dream. A pathway towards my dreams would be supported by the protection of something with strength and presence. I enjoyed painting this scene.
