A painting of a black and white dog standing on a hill

A Collie dog seems to be looking at her master. A beautiful day turning into a peaceful evening with a warm sunset. Her master is telling his little friend. “Come on lass, it’s time to go home.” My Dad had a collie dog when he was a child. A present from uncle John a farmer. Tess slept on the stairs and followed him everywhere. She died of distemper, he was devastated. He saw her clear as day on top of our stairs. Tess ran into my bedroom and Dad got a fright. Proving her spirit is alive and well. Life is more than we know. It surely survives death. This oil painting is specifically for Dad.
