Open pit quarry Mina de Lousas (Boticas, Barroso, Northern Portugal) exposing a feldspar vein. Exploited as raw material for the ceramics industry. Recently, the deposits gained interest in neighbouring Covas do Barroso for the exploitation of the critical raw material lithium, as the deposits contain small quantities of lithium in pegmatite and spodumene mineralisations.
